Qualifications & Experience
I hold CPCAB accredited Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and follow their ethical practice. I am insured and comply with GDPR data handling regulations.
My core training has been with a broad range of clients at St Joseph's Hospice Bereavement Service. Additionally, I volunteered at Spark, a counselling and mentoring service for young people aged 11-23.
How to begin?
Contact me on chanel@phasestherapy.co.uk to arrange a 20 minute consultation call. Please provide your name, contact number and availability and I will get back to you with a slot confirmation for our call.
How many sessions?
I offer open-ended therapy so we are able to run up to as many sessions you feel you require. I suggest at the start, we meet weekly and this may taper off into longer gaps when you feel ready.
Are my details kept confidential?
Unless I suspect a risk of harm to you or someone around you, everything you tell me during our sessions will remain confidential. The only time I will discuss our work is with my own supervisor, to ensure I am working safely and ethically for us both. Details are anonymised and kept minimal. I store your data safetly in locked files. Should you ever wish to review the information I hold of you, you are welcome to have access and I will send to you upon request.
Fees & Cancellations
My fee is £50 per session. In order to ensure my practice treats all clients fairly, I request a 24 hour notice of any cancellations, otherwise the full session fee will be due.
We will each be able to take breaks from the work. I will give you as due notice of any planned days off that I have upcoming.
